We believe that church is more than just a place, a room, a noun, or worship on Sunday morning. We believe that the church is active, a community of people, and a verb. We are called to live out the church in our daily lives, and in order to do that we must grow in discipleship. Here at Cairo UMC there are many opportunities to grow in discipleship for all ages. There are opportunities to get connected to a small group, a Sunday school class, or  serve in missions.

We want to help you get connected, and we realize that just visiting on a Sunday morning is difficult to get connected to one of these opportunities. Since Jesus did so much of his ministry over meals, we want invite you to come have dinner with us. We host a Connect Dinner to help people who are disconnected or feel disconnected to become fully connected.
