Joe and his wife, Sarah-Kate Cox, are both United Methodist Church pastors. Joe serves as the senior pastor of Cairo United Methodist Church, while his wife serves up the road at Morganfield United Methodist Church. Joe is passionate about the local church and hopes that all people can come to experience the saving grace and love of Jesus Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit and the body of Christ. Joe and his wife, Sarah-Kate, have two children, Laurel and Deacon. Joe loves almost every sport and anything outdoors. When he isn’t at the church, he is most likely watching the Chicago Cubs play, chasing a toddler or on the golf course. He is looking forward to connecting with and helping you get connected at Cairo UMC!
